China's State Administration for Industry and commerce, the Central Propaganda Department and other 13 departments recently identified in the 2013 special rectification of false and illegal advertisements advertising categories, focus on key areas and advertising media, the relationship between the people of health and safety hazards, physical and mental health of minors and violations of the law are prone to advertising as a key category.
This special rectification will bring people to report complaints focused, illegal advertising rate high area as the key areas, the urban newspapers, provincial level TV stations and ground (city) the following newspapers, radio, television, and network as the focus of advertising media, promptly investigate and deal with illegal false advertising.
In last year's regulation of false advertising illegal special action, the national industry and commerce system has increased the medical, pharmaceutical, health food, cosmetics, beauty services, advertising supervision and law enforcement, strengthening of the new media advertising supervision, investigate cases of illegal advertisements about 40000 pieces.
